paint protection film is a clear, durable, self-healing film that is applied to a vehicles painted surfaces to protect against rock chips, scratches, road debris, and environmental damage. The film is virtually invisible and helps preserve your car’s finish while maintaining or even increasing its’s resale value. this film can even be applied to interior surfaces such as the tachometer, wood grain, entertainment screens, trim and more!
-
self-healing paint protection film contains special polymers that react to heat, like sunlight or warm water, to smooth out light scratches and swirl marks. this means minor damage on the film can literally “heal” over time, bringing back a near-perfect finish look to your vehicles surface.
for example: you wash your car and see there are light swirls over the surface. normally the surface would have to be polished to level those marks. with PPF, you pull your vehicle into the warm sun and in a few short minutes, the elastomeric polymers return to their original shape and completely fill in those small swirl marks.

While both offer protection, PPF (paint protection film) provides a physical, impact resistant, barrier against rock chips and scratches, whereas ceramic coatings offer chemical resistance, enhanced gloss, and easier cleaning.
Although a ceramic coating is a physical barrier, it is simply too thin to be able to offer the impact and scratch resistance of a paint protection film.
with that being said, a combination of the 2 can give you the best of both worlds. The outstanding impact resistance of PPF with the sleek, easy upkeep of a ceramic coating.
